Equalizer

Equalizer Logo The award-winning parallel rendering framework Equalizer helps application developers to create parallel and scalable OpenGL and GPGPU applications. It enables applications to use multiple graphics cards, processors and computers to achieve higher rendering performance, increase the display size and improve the visual quality.

Part of the Equalizer distribution is osgScaleViewer, a scalable, cluster-ready viewer application based on the OpenSceneGraph. OSG and Equalizer are the ideal combination for high-performance 3D visualization. While OSG focuses on rendering efficiently, Equalizer provides scalability on multi-GPU systems and large-scale clusters.

OpenGL Logo Equalizer is an open source cross-platform solution, available for Linux, Windows and Mac OS X in 32-bit and 64-bit variants. It does not interfere with the application's OpenGL rendering code, and requires at a minimum OpenGL version 1.1. The framework is licensed under the LGPL open source license which allows free usage in both commercial and open source projects.

Eyescale provides the parallel rendering know-how to integrate Equalizer and your application optimally, educates your developers on 'thinking parallel', cost-effectively implements new features and provides support for Equalizer. Please contact us for more details.
